Vembu is a non-governmental and non-profit organization
aimed at societal integration.
It is a maiden venture of the Salesians of Don Bosco
of Trichy Province to reach the unreached
in the Souther n part of Tamil Nadu
with a special focus on the children, youth and women
at risk in the rural areas.
Taking its nature from Vembu (neem tree in Tamil),
it acts as a holistic catalyst decrying societal ills
and brings harmony and justice.
Vembu is registered under Indian Trust Act
(TN 13/2000: 22/09/2000).
